Youth4GG និង Smart

The name of the Event was "Youth for Global Goals & Smart Ambassadorship Press Conference"

Just some description that should be in the press release:

• AIESEC is the world largest youth-run organization focusing on youth leadership development through exchanges.
• AIESEC in Cambodia has been working with Smart Axiata for many years already in creating international opportunities for young Cambodian, and development spaces through our events.
• Youth for Global Goals and Smart Ambassadorship is a program in collaboration of  AIESEC in Cambodia with Smart Axiata to create opportunities for young Cambodia to volunteer overseas.
• There are 18 Ambassadors selected for this program. 7 to Thailand, 4 to Vietnam, 4 to Malaysia, and 2 to Indonesia for social projects related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
• The ambassadors will be going on a 6-week Global Volunteer program through sponsorship provided by Smart.
• To participate in this program, the applicants first have to record a video of them saying which SDG they are most passionate about and how they can as young person can contribute to this goal.
• The purpose is to ensure that all our applicants are aware of what SDGs are and understand that every small daily action counts.
• The second stage is to share this video with the peers to spread further awareness youths within their network.
• The ambassadors are then selected based on their passion towards certain goal and the number of awareness they have created. Through this ambassadorship, we hope that young Cambodians will not only experience new cultural understanding but also bring back the knowledge and innovations to implement within their society to build better and sustainable Cambodia.
